Then you’re denying yourself some quality guns at 1/3 the price of comparables. My Tisas’ are fantastic quality & fit. I just got their Manta. Totally forged. Only MIM part is the RSA cap. Titanium firing pin. $399. Positive waves, Moriarty.

I just bought a 1911 through Guns.com and everything went smoothly. Gun was delivered to the FFL in a week. But I didn’t get any follow up emails saying order had been accepted, item had shipped, etc. I had to check the website for updates/status. Didn’t engage with CS. Overall I was satisfied.

I’ve had good luck with Ed Brown, Chip McCormick, Mec Gar, Wilson Combat & Springfield. Not so much good with Kimber or Colt. Oh, and I got a couple Czech Mates with my Tisas. I was skeptical but they’ve been great.

I’ve got a Tisas Bantam, commander length in .45. Very nice gun, soft shooter and conceals well. Little pricier than the entry level Tisas. But fit & finish are impressive and it’s accurate as all hell. I know they’ve gained some popularity recently, but a 1911 in 9 mm is borderline blasphemous.

I always carry a knife as part of my EDC package. 90% of the time it’s my Spyderco Native 5. How would I use it? As a last line of defense, obviously…if I didn’t have a gun. I’ve had limited instruction here & there but I’d like to take a class that is specifically for bare hand & bladed...
