That makes sense if the gas block is partially the gas port in the barrel. I didn't think of that. Did you swap out the spring and buffer from another working AR?

same ammo as other upper? can you swap parts with the other upper: bcg, buffer and spring, both?

Just finished building this.

Still sucks that she will have an arrest record. The pardon just stops her from having to serve the jail time. Maybe she can use the money to get the arrest expunged from her record.

Any Recommendations on 12 Gauge action-proving dummies? I've been reading some bad reviews online about dummies that only take about 10-20 cycles before being beat-up. Is this normal/am I expecting too much? Thanks in advance.

I finally got around to working on this magazine... The socket idea worked well, RampDog. I used the shanks of drill bits though. I found that a 13/32" bit would slide nicely into the front and back of the magazine, but not the middle. I pushed the bit into the middle of the mag, then used a...
