Shooting past a grand is fairly a mute point for me, but never the less spin drift is an interesting phenomenon. So in a nut shell, basically no one really accounts for it?

Would one agree that to measure spin drift you would need a day of calm weather?

Your caliber, your velocity, your bullet weight. I am looking for an individuals perspective on the subject of Spin Drift.

How many long range shooters try to account for Spin Drift? At what yardage do you begging to worry about the drift of the bullet, as it relates to the twist of the barrel?

Is it the bottom of the receiver that is causing the problems or is it inside the receiver that has the sharper edges? From what I can see it is the parts that run on the inner sides of the receiver. Need to disassemble the entire gun. Take a small fine file to the sharp edges of those parts...

I would bet the problem could be fixed with a small fine/medium file or smoothing it out with a stone. You could probably do this yourself. Post some pics and I will try to help you out.

Will do. Right now we are running 500 yards. But we can take them out to around 985 - 990 yards.
