I shoot an SX2 and love it. I've gone over why I chose it over a Benelli in another thread on here but to sum it up, prior injuries, the heavier gas gun is easier on me.
swfa has their own mount which is made by Burris, its identical to the pepr just cheaper. I used them for my 1" Leupold before getting the Vortex for my 30mm Bushnell
Its a club rule that the muzzle cant point over the berm at any time. I received 3 warnings on 2 stages for doing it, and was told if I did it again I would get a DQ. However I had no intention of changing my reload style mid match, nothing in the IDPA rule book that calls it a DQ'able offense.
I use a blade tech sting ray for SS. non doh. my draw to shot with a single stack is .77...with my limited gun and cr speed im .68...over the course of a match its so close that means jack...however the sting ray is what i use for 3gun for security, same draw as shooting uspsa makes it even...
Hey Jon, I shot it last year, you can add an alternate to your registration so you can have the alternate shoot for you...another team I knew had 2 guys (both military) unable to shoot the second match and they allowed fill ins. hope that helps some.
