My USPSA .40 s&w Single Stack.

I don't think there were a ton of these built, that is until they were added to the CDP product line. Originally labeled "Combat Carry".

I use the aluminum buffers in a .40 s&w 1911, set up for single stack competition in USPSA. It does take some abuse as the picture above shows. It also seems to speed up the cycling, allowing a slightly faster reset to fire the next shot. There is one in my double stack, Limited class pistol.

1911's are my absolute favorite handgun, really my most favorite gun of any kind. I shoot a good bit, competitively. Still enjoy it even though I've lost a lot of speed, but I try. Looking forward to this new venue.
