    Para double stack

I have two Para, P16 Limited and P14 Limited from back in my USPSA days. Both are made in Canada. A whole lot of 40cal shot in the P16. Good pistols, nothing fancy but they just run. Had other Para and all were good.

Kimber Anyone have any thoughts on the Kimber Eclipse?

My Eclipse 45ACP is an older one made in 2004. Fantisc pistol, loves 200gr SWC, more accurate then myself. No issues except a littlfe fnicky with mags. Runs really well with Wilson mags . The MIM sear and all ignition parts replaced with Cylinder & Slide parts (excellent). Trigger job at 2lbs...

MAGAZINES 1911A1.... WHAT IS BEST ???

My preffered 1911 single stack mags are Wilson. Never had a failure as long as you keep clean and change springs when needed. Fed SWC reliable but that is what I fed all of my 1911 over the years. Just cannot go wrong with Wilson mags. IMHO.

    best powders for .45 ACP?

All of my 1911 in 45ACP I shoot 200gr SWC Bearcreek moly coated bullets. Using #231 powder, and accuracy is outstanding.

    Springfield frame. Question

If your ejector has come loose contact Springfield customer service, it should have lifetime warranty. I picked up a used EMP and the ejector was loose they pinned it for free and paid for shipping both ways. If you fix it yourself, the warranty could be denied. Just my 2 cents.

Defective.. worn out magazines... What do you do with them?

For 1911s I only use Wilson mags. Never a problem.

    E-BAY???

I purchased a set of old woodworking hand planes on eBay a few years back. They were delivered, and one had the frame broken, they were not packed very well. The seller had me buy another from a another eBay seller, and they refunded me the other sellers price, which was more money. Excellent CS.

Need to decide. PLEASE help me make the RIGHT decision!

Had an STI plastic trigger installed with CS trigger parts into Kimber eclipse and have a great trigger at 2 lbs. Many years ago runs perfect, for range gun, too lite for carry. My STI trigger has a stainless trigger bow, never an issue. Good to go.

Need to decide. PLEASE help me make the RIGHT decision!

The two Kimbers I have are older and are wonderful. Replaced the trigger parts with CS parts. The only problem was one Kimber extractor would not hold any tension after 10 plus years, understandable, easy fix. Very accurate. I do have two Springfield Loaded models in 45ACP and 9MM and one or the...

For anyone thinking of getting into reloading...

I get satisfaction, when I work up a load that is better then the known commercial best load, that have you have found as a base line. Even if on the trail to the magic, and may take awhile. Like my 45 ACP 200gr SWC load is pretty dam good for targets and accurate too for my use. I enjoy...

    Best 1911 Double Stack?

The Para doube stackes made in Canada were good 1911. I have P16 Limited in 40 S&W that was run hard at USPSA matches. Had others, P16, P14 Limited. All were good pistols, accurate, reliable. My shooting friend even had a P16 Limited converted to 10MM.
