Received my permit today!!! Took class on 11/18 Turned in application on 11/19 Permit issued on 12/16 Permit received on 12/31

They called yesterday and wanted to verify my address so they could send it out. My address is 124 ..... and they had it as 24... so they wanted me to send $10 and a change of address form and wait 3 weeks for their screw up. My address is right on my license and application so I refused to pay...

I'm still waiting. Took my class on 11/18 and hand delivered the application to sled in 11/19. Hopefully soon

I took my cwp class today and passed with a 100 on the shooting test and a 100 on the written test. Going to hand deliver my paperwork to sled in the morning and wait up to 90 days lol. Hoping for the best.

Ive lived in sc my entire life. I plan on taking my cwp course next week. Only issue is I have a simple assault charge from when I was 16. (I'm 24 now) I called sled and they informed me my record was expunged. The lady was nice but uunable to tell me if it would affect me getting a cwp or not...
