Have a 1911 Ruger in 10mm and it's excellent and inexpensive. Love it.

I prefer night sights. A major advantage is finding the gun at night in a tent were things seem to shift around. I can wake up and immediately say "there's my friend."

Seems like next in order might be 10mm long slide with an optic.
