I have accidently joined the Polar Bear 2011 club during the early February 2011 freeze. <br />
While pushing my friend in a kayak out onto the ice to retrieve a soggy basset hound, I fell thru the ice and into the small deep lake behind her house. The dog and I were retrieved. We took a hot bath after the adventure.
