    Chrono indoors?

Labradar or IR lights/sensors. My indoor ranges won't let ANYONE beyond the "red line" for ANYTHING--liability insurance issue, even if range is closed. So, for me, Labrador would be my only option (if I could afford one).

    Brass headache

Are you trying to be a long-range rifle shooter or a pistol shooter? Throw all the cases into the same bin and start loading. Case head-stamp, length, weight segregation is good for a few tenths of an MOA, if you are lucky; however, most pistols are 8-15 MOA shooters any way, so IT JUST DOESN'T...

    Where does it fit?

I would say between Unique and Power Pistol. Per Shooting Times: Alliant lists its burn rate between Unique and Power Pistol, which puts it in the class of a medium burn rate pistol powder. It looks like its sibling, Power Pistol, with the addition of small whitish flakes. Read more...

    Blue Bullet 9mm recall info

Wow, those are just the right size for EVERY 9x19 I have. I find that all my 9x19s prefer 0.357-0.358" bullets.

What powders for coated 147gr 9mm

For what purpose? Action Pistol? A fast powder (AA2 to 231/HP38) is usually desired, with AA2 and Solo 1000 being my favorites. Accuracy? A slow powder (AA5-Herco) is best, with Power Pistol being excellent. Popularity? Many die-hard TiteGroup users, though I find it doesn't do always well with...

Bullet diameter, power factor, and pressure

Never had any pressure signs from going from 0.355 to 0.357" jacketed. Main thing to remember is that the bore/groove for barrels is the same for 9x19, .38 Spl, and .357 Mag.

Anyone bought bullets from Precision Delta lately?

They are pretty much as good as Montana Gold or Zero. MY buying preference right now is Zero and then PD. You can't beat them for the price. I think any one who HASN'T tried them is missing out on a great deal.

Band of Marks on 9mm Case

It's a cannelure. Perfectly normal. Usually used to help retain bullet from being set back. Also, some factories use them for identification. If you look at cases, you'll find some with two or three cannelures. Means NOTHING to a reloader, as it was expanded out with the rest of the case. Never...

Squib? Not really a question but interesting nonetheless.

I once tried to fire a cartridge with a backwards primer. It wouldn't go off. Would one NEVER go off? I would not say that. If there is a flash hole and if powder comes out the flash hole, then the primer did NOT send any flame into the case. From sound of report, firing a backwards primer makes...

Anyone bought bullets from Precision Delta lately?

    >For me in .40 though, Xtreme in 180gr RNFP $110 shipped per 1k vs. $120 from PD At that price difference, I'll stay with really accurate jacketed bullets and not those plated bullets that generally give me more of a shotgun pattern. I did not see any post I already made so just let me say...

Anyone bought bullets from Precision Delta lately?

Exposed lead at the base? Recovered cast lead bullets will show that the base has not been effected by the heat. Lead comes from primers. Back in the late '70s, one of the magazines actually coated the base of cast bullet with Tempe-Lac (or however it is spelled) and recovered bullets showed the...
