Tried DW, Colt and Wilson Combat mags with various ammo types. A few rounds hit the feed ramp so hard the bullet got pushed into the casing. This thing better come back like a custom nighthawk or Les Bear after all this trouble.

I'm in Southern California and do not know any smiths. I am about to send the pistol to CZ-USA for their warranty repair. Still no word from DW, but from what I've read I don't really want to deal with their CS. At least they're taking care of it.

Bought a Dan Wesson Pointman 7 45. Brand new out of the box it won't chamber ammo. Never been shot. Filled out a warranty claim at Dan Wesson online. Still have yet to hear back from them.

This is my first 1911. Not my first firearm. Paid $1600 new for this thing. Haven't shot it yet but it won't chamber anything anyways so might as well save myself the trip. Emailed DW earlier. We'll see what they say. Good opportunity to make a good customer out of me if they play it right
