War of the rats was a book. not sure when it came out, but the movie Enemy at the Gates was "loosely" based on it. I'm a little young to have fully enjoyed the original all quiet on the western front movie. My high school history teacher showed us the original movie i think. Back in 1998. :D...

If you like old war movies like All quiet on the western front or War of the Rats(movie Enemy at the Gates, book was a lot better) then you would probably like this movie. And yes it is rick schroder from silver spoons. :lol:

Don't know if you guys have seen this movie The Lost Battalion. It's another war movie. Based back in WWI about a battalion that got stranded in the Argonne forest in 1918. I think it was actually a TV series on A&E or something. But you can still pick it up on netflix. I liked it and thought...

They shipped the adapter no charge and came fast. And my new rail and sight reflex came right after. So here is my new setup: Now just thinking about a new butt stock. I've heard knox is pretty good.

I got a hold of the company, ProMag, and they are being awesome about it. They said they can send me the adapter. Didn't ask for any payment. Just my address. I'm pretty stoked about that. :D

Hmmm... I didn't even think about a new tube assembly. But would that lower the number of shells it will hold? I wrote the ProMag company to see if I can get the adapter separately. So i will wait and see how that works out. Thanks for the help Avtomat and Dirk.

The old one measures out at about 7-7/8". And the new measures at around 6-1/2". This was just in a pile at someones booth at the gun show. Should have asked more questions first. I have been spending about an hour doing some research and came across the actual piece...

I just picked up a new slide action and angled foregrip at the gun show for my 500. My issue is that its smaller than my old action. So now there is like a 1" gap between the grip and the retaining nut. Do they make a spacer for this?

Yeah... separating it from the gun show would be good. And not during a military exercise. I will be working on Saturday. I'm not going to be able to make the shooting. But should still be able to make the show on Sunday.

We try to stick to our own brass. It's starting to pile up because my reloader guy is out of town for the next couple of months. Sounds like it will be crazy busy for the ShootzenFest. Can't wait. Isn't the gun show the same day?

I got a hold of the company and they were helpful. They wanted my information and said they would do a call tag. I'm not familiar with call tags, but i got that they will ship me a new box or a label to ship the ammo back with, or something. Are you guys familiar with call tags? And how long...
