I always use my 1911 airgun since your ammo is so much cheaper than practice ammo for the .45 , I get so much satisfaction from it since I use my holster for it and it keeps me on my toes .
I find it helps with grip and other aspects such as holstering and drawing and there is no noise to rile up the neighbors so it is a win win for everybody .
Does anyone else here use pellet guns for just practicing when the weather is too crappy outdoors and just don't feel like driving to an indoor range ? I love it as it is cheap and your still using marksmanship and doesn't bother the wife or kids .
I carry a Kimber pro CDP2 and it is very nice weight and I carry in a shoulder holster some days and a Galco Fletch on hip other days depends on my attire , I had a Colt LW Commander and this is lighter yet with the 4" barrel .
