Went to the range with my wife the other day so she could some practice in. Shes really getting good and building her confidence in her ability with the weapon. She wants to get her CCW but would like to be sure she can pass the shooting portion first. I think shes ready but she wants to know...
This might take this thread way off into left field but what the hay...
A magazine I subscribe to called American Cop recently had an article (seen here, http://www.americancopmagazine.com/will-you-do-it/) asking officers if they were told to take guns from law abiding citizens if they would...
A few years ago me and two buddies all got one at the same time. I had a P22 and I loved it so I thought the same package with more power would be a great idea. First trip to the range was frustrating because it was picky about ammo and the break in period seemed more like a constant drill of...
I took this stock off of my DPMS LR-308 in favor of a standard A2 stock. It comes complete with the buffer tube, buffer spring, buffer, end plate and castle nut.
Asking $40.00
I am willing to ship it for an additional $5.
I will also entertain trades for ammo in .223, 9mm, .45ACP or .308
Here is my take on the topic as a local leo of 10yrs.
I have had many encounters over the years with citizens legally exercising their 2nd amendment rights (either as a CWP or lawfully carrying in their vehicles console or glove box). Never have I disarmed or checked a serial # in those...
Does anyone know if the buffer tube assembly of an LR-308 is interchangeable with an AR15 buffer tube assembly. They look the same but I'm not sure if they will fit and function the same. I want to take the collapsible butt stock off my LR-308 and swap it for the A2 stock I have on my AR15.
I have had a great experience with Tucker Gun Leather holsters (http://www.tuckergunleather.com/). I own their "Cover Up IWB" for a Glock 36 and the "Secret Strike IWB" for a Kimber Ultra CDP and a SIg Sauer P238. They are comfortable and well made but they aren't cheap. I have a buddy that...
Mine has a 16" barrel with the standard AR type flash hider. It has the "sportical" type upper receiver without the dust cover and forward assist. Last week I picked up a bunch 7.62x51 brass cased milsurp ammo from another forum member. That should be plenty to keep me shooting for a while. All...
Just picked up a DPMS LR-308. The barrel is stamped 7.62x51 so I think it should be able to handle either one. I haven't had a chance to send lead down range with it yet but I plan on using both .308 and 7.62x51 through it.
I have bought a couple from Lawmens in Columbia. Nothing to it really. All the same paperwork as a normal firearm purchase plus they make a photo copy of your credentials.

Thanks for the info.
I just ordered some of the speer gold dots from cheaper than dirt. If those don't work I will keep my eyes peeled for the hornady.
