    USPSA: Ben Stoeger One-day Class

LOL. BTW... Matt Mink is teaching a class at Alpha Training (in Pryor, OK) in late April. That should be an interesting class.

All, Just to bring this to a closure... it appears the class at Space City Challenge (Houston) is a go. JT & Eric -- Sorry guys.

    USPSA: Ben Stoeger One-day Class

Thanks, JT. As of tonight, three people have expressed an interest for DTC and three for Space City. We need to have five for either to take place. I will give it until the end of February before calling it quit.

    USPSA: Ben Stoeger One-day Class

All, Unfortunately, as you may have heard, the Texas State Open has been cancelled. As a result, we won't be able to conduct Ben Stoeger's one-day class in Waco. So here is my last-ditch effort. Below are the options. If you are interested in one, please let me know. I need to gauge...

    USPSA: Ben Stoeger One-day Class

All, ***** Due to scheduling conflict, we have decided to change the date(s) of Ben Stoeger's one-day class. Please see below for more information. ***** We have a rare opportunity to participate in a one-day, small class taught by Ben Stoeger, the 2011 US Production Division National...

New from south of the Red River

JT -- thanks again for the kind advice. I have yet to really progress that "fast." I'm only a B-class in Production. At this point, I have only enough time to do one or two live-fire practice a month, which isn't much. In short, my disposable time is quite limited. I'll try the whole...

What is the hot CZ for USPSA Production Division

FWIW... talked to Rob at CZ Custom about it. This 5.4" Shadow is not yet Production legal, but will soon be in the CZ-USA catalog. Then, as soon as its production volume meets the minimum requirement, the gun will become USPSA Production legal. On another note, as the Glock G34, the new CZ...

What is the hot CZ for USPSA Production Division

Here is the 5.4" Shadow. Not sure whether it'd be Production legal. The "Australian" Shadow is basically the same frame, but has a 4.9" "stated" barrel length -- again, when measured crown-to-breech-face, the length is just under 4.7". I'm about to install one in my duo-tone shadow. CZ...

What is the hot CZ for USPSA Production Division

JT -- those are regular CZ SP-01 Shadows, which have a "stated" 4.7" barrel, but is measured from crown to bottom of ramp. From crown to breech-face, the measurement is about 4.5".

What is the hot CZ for USPSA Production Division

Agreed regarding "walls" or break. The one Mink did for me had it. However, the one Stuart did for me (duo tone) has a very clean break/wall and a light SA-pull.

What is the hot CZ for USPSA Production Division

Y'all, Here are my CZ Shadows. After a brief stint with an M&P Pro and an XDM, I have chosen CZ as my sword. I have shot CZs by CZCustom (Angus) and Matt Mink, and prefer Matt's work; however, there is another option. There is a CZ "nut" in Colorado who did one of the below Shadows -- Holy...

I'm definitely interest in that. Do you know the date? I have heard it's the first weekend of May, but am not certain. If the date is out, then we should put it on the calendar at BE.

    USPSA: Ben Stoeger One-day Class

yeap...put that option out with Ben, but he's not taking the bait. Apparently, Ben prefers not shooting in "heat" and thinks DTC is a bit of a hose-fest.

All, Thanks for the warm welcome. - JT... I've never really shot a rifle before. As a former javelin thrower, I can probably throw an AR-15 better than I can shoot it . LOL. Seriously, I have a few personal goals I want to achieve in USPSA Production, so other adventurers will have to wait a...
