I see what you're saying and didn't mean to stigmatize the penalty. My point is that I made it plainly clear upfront my level of experience so they wouldn't have to guess.

Mike, I'll hazard a guess and say you probably knew you were within one inch? I suspect that comes from a lot of experience.
