Cool video. I think the quality of the ar-500 steel has something to do with the damage done as well. I shoot 55's just a shade over 3200fps and with my MGM steel at 100 yards, there is not as much as a dimple with either my fmj's or NBT's. I have shot plenty of steel that looks like 20 year old...

Actually it has nothing to do with not wanting to shoot a pistol at the match. MD's have the right to only offer divisions they want at a match and competitors have the right to support the match or not. Most of the time that match is full months out, there are still spots open today, in-fact...
