I would agree with RStone - those 2 pulled shots on your 'large target' say a lot.

'I think I got a bad batch of 230 ball ammo and the unpolished chamber doesnt help.' I think this could well be your problem. Remove your barrel and try dunking those rounds into the chamber. If they fall into place easily and flush with the barrel hood they should give you no issues...
