CAD consultant (retired}. My neighbor and I just got a CNC for our woodshop...looking forward to getting back to shooting. One of my neighbors decided to sale his 45. He never fired it.....so when opened the box and stared at a new SIG 1911 STX. I had to buy it. I hadn't shot a 45 since late 60's. I do like my long guns. I have collected a Rem 700 5r 308, Savage Ashbury 6.5 creedmoor, Sig 516.and a Garand born in 43. My favorite pistol up til now was a Sig Legion p226 SAO.
So here I am at 1911 fanatics.
