I have fired the Ruger SR1911 finally but I must admit the Bul Armory unit is so much smoother out of the box. I would place the Bul Armory unit up against any very high quality 1911.

Look up Bul Armory, they may have one??? I have a Bul Armory 1911 in 9mm, it's a Tack Driver and the build quality matches similar guns that sell for three times the price. Bul Armory makes Desert Eagle guns in various calibers.
