Is Tisas a good 1911 option?

    That Stingray is beautiful.

Is Tisas a good 1911 option?

I have fired the Ruger SR1911 finally but I must admit the Bul Armory unit is so much smoother out of the box. I would place the Bul Armory unit up against any very high quality 1911.

Is Tisas a good 1911 option?

I own (2) Tisa's, the Browning High Power Clone in stainless steel and the 380 Faith. Both are well made and go bang everytime I pull the trigger. I like them both. Other than the fact I have (8) 45. ACP's I would pick one up. I did pick up a BUL 9mm 1911 Commander. It is by far the finest...

Is Tisas a good 1911 option?

Look up Bul Armory, they may have one??? I have a Bul Armory 1911 in 9mm, it's a Tack Driver and the build quality matches similar guns that sell for three times the price. Bul Armory makes Desert Eagle guns in various calibers.

Is Tisas a good 1911 option?

I have (2) Tisa's, a 380 and the Browning Br9 Clone in stainless. Both are excellent firearms. The Tisa 1911 in 45 feels and looks like the Ruger SR1911 at a much lower price point. I own a Ruger SR1911 in .45, one of the first 100 units made. For the money, I think the Tisa 1911 .45 would...

I Think My "Collection" is Mostly Complete.

I say the same thing but keeping getting sucked in to purchase more. I have only traded (1) in my days. I recently sold a Para 1911 Expert Carry that I have thoughts about but must reduce my 1911 collection as I have too many guns. Nut's, how can I have too many guns? Sucker for a smooth...

Is Tisas a good 1911 option?

I own (2) Tisas's neither of which is the .45 ACP. One is an exact replica of the Beretta 84, the other is a Browning High Power Clone. Both are Very good precision tools for the money and hard to beat. I also have (2) RIA's, 10mm and 9mm 1911's. If it's your first .45 ACP, I would probably...

This one or that one - another Colt vs Kimber thread

I recently picked up a Bul Commander Stainless Steel in 9mm. It is by far the best built and smoothes 1911 I have to date. They can be picked up a @ Grab a Gun for $820.00 Feels and shoot like to $3000.00 gun.

    New 1911 on it's way

I purchase the same SS Commander in 9mm last month from Grab a Gun. It arrived in less than one week @ my FFL. The fit and finish is one of the best I have in my collection. The accuracy is off the wall and very smooth shooting. I may purchase another one in .45 ACP. You can never have...

Suggestions on a 10mm Long Slide

I purchased a RIA 10MM High Capacity and a Glock 10MM the same week. After shooting both back to back right out of the box, I sold the Glock that day. The RIA was dead on bulls eye, with the Glock, I missed the bulls eye by 4 to 6 inches right out of the box. I recently picked up a XDM 10MM...

    Best 1911 Double Stack?

Double stack R1, that sounds interesting. That should be a joy to shoot. You shoot a lot. That's good. I have several several guns I have not shot yet including an SR1911 I purchased new the first month they were released in 2011. Have fun and be safe.
