    Hello from the upstate

COG hosts the 3-gun matches at SCOTG. You can find them on Facebook. COG will post the link to their on-line registration about a week and a half or so before their next match. They don't vet people which is not always a good thing but essentially everyone on each squad is a range officer...

    Cowboy Action Shooting in Belton

Would love the tour but while my memory's good, it can be short at times so too much information will all be lost. I work best off of written info I can refer back to as I'm hunting for gear.

Thanks, that is very good info. The options are few and no one likes to waste money on gear that just doesn't work.

    Cowboy Action Shooting in Belton

Crunchy, can you provide some guidance on what are decent and not overpriced pistols, rifle and shotguns? What are some of the popular models being used by the average participants? I've gone to the SASE and Cowboy Action Shooting sites and they provide very broad information. I'm trying to...

    New to ARs, first AR

You really can't go wrong with the PSA ARs. They are plentiful and should be right in your price range. I suggest getting a flat top configuration instead of one with the integral carry handle. The flat top makes it easier to add an optic in the future. The ATI lower is a polymer lower...

    Flatrock 3 Gun match Dec. 14, 2013

I've been shooting with this group for about 6 months now and have had a great time honing skills that you can't get shooting at paper targets at the range. This is a great opportunity to try out the sport of 3-gun at a local level. This is not a high-end big $$$ match, so there is no cut...

Just passing the word on a great opportunity here in the Western Carolinas. I've been participating with this group for about 6 months now. I've had a great time, learned a lot and continue to learn and hone skills every time I show up. There is a vast array of experience and as a newbie I've...

Greenville gun show and PSA grand opening

Planning on hitting the show but will probably avoid PSA since being the Grand Opening everybody and their 3rd cousin will be swarming the place looking for .22 ammo. I doubt there would be much that would tempt me to deal with the crowd and the traffic over there.

PSA Coming to Greenville July 2013

Four? Are you counting Dewey's Pawn shop? Otherwise all I know of is Sharpshooters and Allen Arms.
