I don't know what problems you have had with Kimber but I owned a Kimber TLE II and had no problems with it. It was very accurate and reliable. It shot very well.

This is my Kimber Arctic LW 1911 in 45 ACP. I bought this a few weeks ago. I have not taken the time out to shoot it.

I have one. To me, it is a very good shooter. I have had mine for about a year. This is my second one. It shoots very well. Mine was used for a very reasonable price. This is the gun I am talking about.

I will totally agree with you. I have had other 1911's in 9mm. I no longer have them. I went totally to 45 acp.

I have 2 SDS 1911A1's. I have shot one of them. It shoots very. I would put it up against my Colt 70 series or my Springfield Loaded. All of my 1911's are in 45 acp

No, you are not. I have 3..... Fullsize 1911, LW Commander and regular Commander. All in 45 ACP. The LW Commander and fullsize 1911 both shoot very well. I just bought the Commander today, so haven't had the chance to take it out.
