I don't know about SC, but in GA there is no background check if you present your CWP at the time of purchase.

Sounds like it might have a chance of passing, great news!!

You could do it with a drill press, but it will be a lot cleaner and faster with a CNC machine. I know several shops where I lived in VA that would have no problem with it, just to new to the Upstate to know whom to contact. I also know me, it's probably a project I would let sit forever.

Does anyone know of a machine shop in the Upstate area that will allow you to use their CNC machines to mill out an 80% lower? From what I understand as long as the owner of the lower presses the button to start the machine then it is legal to use their equipment.

Maybe we should ban televisions and video games until you pass an IQ test then?

I've had my XDs for about 6 months or so. Great carry weapon. I did get a couple extra 7 round extended mags though.

I just moved up from GA, got my SC license and applied for my CWP the same day. I had previously taken the SC class before moving. My GA permit became invalid as soon as I turned in my GA license.
