As stated, Palmetto does not actually manufacture anything. All they do is assemble parts... Do the other 2 companies on the list machine their own products in house or do they purchase their stuff with a variance marking??

i have shot a JP with the captured spring... it does work well, but IMO some white grease on a regular buffer spring works just as well for less $$..

That is an AR-10. The upper and lower were machined from steel. That is why they were able to apply that type of finish to the .metal
