Nice. Anywhere near DC is a different place. I grew up in MD close to NOVA. It's nice crossing the river and being able to carry. Have a safe trip to Richmond.

I just got back from Virginia where I spent most of the time carrying openly. It was great to have the freedom and the only time I got any looks or anyone said anything was if they wanted to know what it was and talk about guns. Great way to make new friends :D

I remember reading this a few years back. That's a pretty crazy story and it's amazing how stupid some people can be.

I can't wait for this. The ruling from one of the US Circuit Court judges in Maryland might make it so that no state can require a permit for a constitutional right. Whichever way it happens, people should be able to carry without a permit.

That is quite a victory! It actually sounds like the judge is in favor of abolishing all permit systems. At least, that was the impression I got from the article.
