Out of your list, I would go with the Ruger and the main reason is their warranty if you ever needed it. I would also not rule out a good used 1911 from some of the larger companies. You get what you pay for in 1911s most of the time.

A lot of new gun owners believe that paying the price for high dollar ammo is the norm. Was at a local indoor range/gun shop. 7 folks in line to purchase new firearms, 5 first time buyers, was crazy.
