I'm going out tomorrow after I get my taxes done with my new Nordic upper to try to wear out the 2 10 rd mags.

I have stock 10-22 and a nordic upper....this may be worth a trip to the big city

You can take a dremmel to those tabs that limit the capacity on those mags and turn them into 15 rounders

A .22 rimfire Tactical Indoor Rifle match!!

It's in time to practice for the High Plains Rifle match 3 weeks later AND maybe win something, too!

Sweet, I have a new M&P15-22 coming this week. I have never been to rifle match and just curious how does a tactical rifle match differ from a pistol match? Yeah I know we use rifles instead of pistols but how many rounds, what kind of targets, do we sling rifles, how many mags needed, classes, red dots,etc. I am assuming weak side shooting should be expected?

Jesse speaks the truth.

Just look inside and watch the follower and where it stops. Its a block that limits the capacity. Take er apart and grind that bugger off. Boom. High(er) cap mags on order.

Just took a mag apart. each side has this round tab. Seems to me just file it down smooth and BINGO more capacity!

I am really excited about this one...back in Phoenix we ran a steel match with our .22's and It was a lot of fun. My M&P15 22 is in serious need of coming out to play! Any idea when we will get more details? Want to be sure and sign up early!

Yes, it's at Heartland.

There will be a 10-22 Division (and similar guns) so you don't need a "tactical .22"

Ok, let's bring this one back to the top.

There will be FOUR divisions:

Tactical unmagnified, Tactical magnified, Standard unmagnified, Standard magnified.

The first two are where the AR's will be. The last two will be for the 10-22's, 597's, Marlin's, etc.

Keep in mind that there will be at least ONE required reload, so tublular magazines will not be allowed at this one.

4-5 stages, 100 rds required!

We will limit this to 40 shooters, as I need to know how many targets to make for this thing.
