2012 AR15.com/Rockcastle ProAm 3 Gun Championship

Ahhhhhh, I do enjoy the geezer jokes, but I have yet to see any of you step up and run a match. All I see is bitching about other folks hard work while you play. If you can do better, DO IT! And prove us all wrong. I picked this stage especially for you Jesse, because you couldn't do it at Mid West and I am sure you cant do it at Pro-Am.

I think you are making friends faster than you think. I would doubt Kirk wants to see you acknowledge at one of his matches. Andy probably doesn't want to see you at Blue Ridge, and now you are working on Pro-Am. Great way to represent all the names on your shirt!

Run a match? Hell Im still trying to figure out how to shoot them. I'm glad we have old guys it adds diversity..... Otherwise we would all just be fat guys

Ps im looking forward to Proam

Kurt,
I drank a couple 12 packs of negra modelo & ate some big juicy ribeyes this evening with my BIL explaining the finer points of Kurtisms. You know I have an an appreciation for the guys that make it happen.

Mr. Burki, you have already been tarred with the same brush! Bringing a fine lenses maker like Decot into the same fold as a hover-round (which I have only seen Jesse ride in a match......so much for geriatrics! Only young klutzy guys use those) A Pox upon thee!

Not to get off subject (re: Rock Castle), but "Challenge" is my middle name...3Gun is great, but High Plains (in my humble opinion) is a LEGACY...I don't have any experience in this arena, but I BELIEVE that it can be done...with some direction, I would like the opportunity to take this match & continue it's dominance. Kurt & Trapr are/were the reason the "Big Guns" were present, and that's what separated this sgun from the last I attended. Is it too late to accept the opportunity?

All kidding and jousting aside, the reason the " big dogs showed up" was because it was convenient. Hell we even had a couple of "Pound Kings" like Benny Hill, and Jesse Tischauser running stages for us......Thanks Guys! Many of them came because it is World Shotgun this year, so calm down take a big breath. Putting on a match is A LOT more work than you think, and it takes well over 6 months of prep for the 2 days of production. Even for a little 100 person match like High Plains, let alone a big 500 plus person match like Pro-Am, even though some folks think it is A walk in the park....mainly folks that have never put one on!

Maybe someday I'll be smart enough to run a club match at my club. Once that happens watch out I might hold a 1000 shooter match.

All kidding aside I am truely grateful that we have folks like Kurt, JJ & Denise, Jeff, Bruce, Andy, Rob, etc etc that are willing to put on these matches. I'm still not quote sure why they do it.

I don't shoot to make friends! I only have one name on my shirt and I help educate a lot of Shooters about their products. If a company doesn't want me wearing their logo because I criticized a stage in a match then I don't want their logo on my shirt either.

I guess I need to up the negative sarcasm to keep my sponsors happy?

Ahhh you had me at grateful! You big old Panda you! The only thing I mentioned about the shirt is that you aren't representing you, you are representing all the names on your shirt, and it is A wise shooter that thinks about that FIRST, before posting negative comment. But that is " old guy thinking" and I guess New sponsores want to be represented by folks that don't care about that. I know that if I had a company I would want all my sponsored shooters to be real DICKS! That way everyone would " want" my stuff

NOTE....I MAY DEVIL Jesse, but in no way do I think he is A Dick! This is just a bit of Kurt "infomercial" B.T.W. I let Jerry know you think he is a geriatric, and he said something about gunny sack swimming for you...must be an old Cajun thing!

Thankfully you don't even know what the name of my company is, or what it even does, but if you ever find out.....gunny sack for two...no waiting!

I'm anxious to shoot a shotgun out of a car. Never did that in the day time.

I bet those saigas will be fun with those comps that sling BB's backwards.

This will be my first trip to the Pro Am, I have heard about some of the activities they have for spectators and shooters. I've been to the Rockcastles web site to find information about all of them but can find it.
I found the info for the Match Details, Sponsors, registration, Rules and lodging but nothing about activities. I found a pro Clinic but not how to sign up for it.
Can anyone direct to a place to find information on activities being provided & cost, clinic registration & cost (do you have to be a pro to attend?). Thanks

The pro clinics are held on some of the stages after the shooting concludes for the day. Just show up for those as well. It's kind of a round table of sorts.

I will be putting on a pro clinic on beer drinking daily after the match.
