Heres a response; I have no stake in this group buy, but Id be happy to take your order over, and send you your money on monday.
WTF is Matt supposed to do; where in the group buy deal does it say he has to answer all your questions promptly? I will guarantee you and everyone else that as soon as the stuff in, that the info will get posted up right here in this thread.

Frankly it is good of Erik to be even helping us out, he can sell every one of these pieces and turn a bigger profit at this moment in time, demand is high, components are hard to get. My brother is a Loki dealer and told me 3-4 months.

Group buys, in this time coming up for the elections are going to take time
Unfortunately, Matt started this when the supplier is swamped, and his suppliers are swamped as well.
Nobody on this forum, can influence the folks that build these parts, as they are having to balance putting more help on vs working their employees to death with overtime, which increases the cost of the part. Higher costs result in higher prices for the parts/guns, and then you guys complain they are gouging you for your parts.
They are only trying to stay in business to serve the shooting community. Please be understanding as Loki survives by their suppliers, and they are having problems getting the parts for the finished product.

Matt, understand no hard feelings here, but i do expect communication and there is a breakdown apparently.
and i am not being unreasonable here, its not like i am asking for hundreds of details merely a update on a timeframe.
now as far as loki is concerned i am sure they are swamped but my money is just as good as anyone elses money and i at the very least expect communication if i am giving you my money and yes 48 hours is adequate time to respond. furthermore the old they will be here in 2 weeks deal is what mainly bothers me. i can and will wait but dont lie to me and tell me a time frame....twice....and have no intentions of delivering them in that time frame.
as far as parts are hard to come by right now i am calling bs. i can go online and find and purchase a stripped upper in about 6 min.and noteably i will only spend about 10 dollars more than these are going for.
as far as this particular order taking time to fill? this order could be filled in as long as it takes them to count to forty twice and tape the box
you guys can flame me and think i am being pissy all you want but i have already lost money on a boomershooter group buy that never panned out so of course i am a bit sceptical.
other than that thanks again matt for being the one to step up and lead it. i just wish your vendor was doing you better.

17" barrell buy. but I didnt see as it was worth throwing a fit over. and I still wont throw a fit, but I am being a whole lot more cautious. And I was hoping since everyone else has had good experinces that it was just a fluke, but if you read the last ew pages of that one it sounds a whole lot like this one.

I can't control when the parts Will get here. Erik hasn't given me any reason not to trust his word that he'll get the parts to me. It may not be as quick as everyone would like, and I'm sorry for that, but I'm waiting just like the rest of you guys. I have a build in progress right now that I need my upper for but alas, parts arent here yet so I wait.
As far as parts availability being "bs" and it only costing $10 more somewhere else.... Why the Hell did you decide to join a group buy in the first place if thats one of your gripes about it?
