I was wondering if you guys are still doing ShootzenFest?
It's been a while since Pops and I have seen most of y'all.
He and I both have some new toys and I bet you guys do too.

Can't have a ShootzenFest unless you and Pops are there!

I've been shooting on private land plus at Boggy Head and Panteao Sportsmans Club over the last few years.

Like you & Pops I may have a couple new toys. My cell number changed so hit me up via PM if you want the new one.

I get that, most of us probably wouldn't be bringing as much as we used to but surely we all have enough to have some fun with friends.

When was the last time one was held?

They were good hotdogs.
It's hard to beat a charcoal grill and high quality hotdogs.
The only thing we lacked (for obvious reasons) was beer.

I always enjoyed hanging with like minded folks an getting to play with their toys.

No I don't think you did.
Looks like fun

Have there been any ShootzenFests since Pops and I left the forum?

Meet Up in the 'Marion!
The Old ShootZenFests were a community meet and greet. I loved seeing and shooting all the toys.
Is there any interest in doing a meet up even if not a sponsored ShootZenFest?

My wife is high risk, and I'm not interested in sleeping in the tent for 2 weeks to self-isolate after hanging out with folks, but if we wait a while before setting something up I'm in a better place and could get the dogs and buns and such. I don' t have a portable grill though.

If it's in the next 6 months or so I could absolutely requisition a grill and some charcoal. Past that I'm not sure, but I'm more than happy to help out however I can for as long as I'm in town!

Disabled veterans can now use base MWR resources - not sure if outdoor adventure still rents grills, but they used to have a tow-behind that was appropriate for a gathering.IMG_0280.JPG

If we could find reloading supplies.

There is a Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times" danged if we aren't doing it.
I for one don't like it!

Geez, you mean you didn't horde powder and primers between other shortages?

My stash looks like hording, but it is more a result of not having a bench set up for the past 5 years.
