Palmetto state armory website has kimbers for 30% off, you have to add to cart to see the price. Any experience with kimbers on here? Are they worth the coin, seems even with the discount I could get a colt.

I am very BIAS....right now I only have 3 Kimbers...but, I have had as many as 5 of them...
I just traded off a like new Colt Defender for a Kimber...and, I have done it before. Lots of people talk trash about KImbers,,,but they usuallly own Hi-Points.
It is hard to find the feature of Kimbers with anything but High Dollar guns...
I would be more than happy for you to take a Kimber for a ride if you get to Charleston...

I have one, and have no complaints. Like most 1911's, it took some tweaking to get it where I wanted it, but well worth the money. I wouldn't hesitate to get another.
