And taking the gun to a place that knows what the current load methods need.
Kinda hard to tell for sure from the pic but it looks like the port could've been opened up quite a bit more to make things a little easier for loading dueces/quads. From the pic it looks like they were pretty conservative.SydneyJ said:Sorry I meant to attach the picture to the original post
Yes i thought the same when I saw the difference in ports with some of the videos out. What should I do? I already paid the 100 bucks to have them do it, should I bring it back?Wall said:Kinda hard to tell for sure from the pic but it looks like the port could've been opened up quite a bit more to make things a little easier for loading dueces/quads. no; they did what they consider porting, and if they would have felt comfortable with more, they would have done it. I charge $200 for my port jobs, when I am doing ala carte work. it will definitely help you over stock. i know guys who could quad load the crap out of it. stick to deuces and slowly play with quads.SydneyJ said:Yes i thought the same when I saw the difference in ports with some of the videos out. Dude I hate to break it to you but that load port Looks like the old ones we used to do for old school one at a time weak hand loading . Briley knows chokes but not 3-gun. You're going to have to get out the Dremel or send it to accurate iron for a quad load port.SydneyJ said:Sorry I meant to attach the picture to the original post
Man that's bummer news, 3 weeks of wait time and 100 bucks later... I still have to send it in? Only reason I went to Briley is they are local here to Houston. Where's accurate iron located?Jesse Tischauser said:Dude I hate to break it to you but that load port Looks like the old ones we used to do for old school one at a time weak hand loading . Tuning the shell catch is huge too. I tried to do my own and I sucked at it. I still have mike at accurate iron get them perfect.

Hey Scott. Do you have pics? I just started on my M3K last night and would like to see if I am going in the right direction. ~tScott C Taylor said:Sydney I'm in Houston too, you can see what my M3K looks like if you want. You can do it at home, it's really not that hard.

Looks just like my M1 and M2, you can get decent at loading that if time or cash is short.Jesse Tischauser said:Dude I hate to break it to you but that load port Looks like the old ones we used to do for old school one at a time weak hand loading . Awesome pics, Scott. Thanks so much for sharing, I feel much more comfortable with what I've done so far. ~tScott C Taylor said:
I may open up the shell catch sides bit more as well as the follower area at the hand guard.
Just come out and say it, I'm old.Wall said:You still load weak hand though. He wants to load quads & dueces
My only suggestion would be to round out that sharp edge at the follower.Scott C Taylor said:
