This looks like some one is capitalizing on freeze dried foods. All you add is water.

I looked at it and they seem to have some fairly decent deals. I have no idea if it is legit or not, but the principal is quite sound.
the sell pre-packaged food in daily meals. for example, $159 for 2 weeks worth of daily meals for two people. The claim the stuff will last in cool dry storage for 25 years.
Sounds very MRE doesn't it?

I spoke to someone who says he is going to order one of the smaller packages to see what you really get.
If I can get him to bring it in to work I'll let you guys know what I find.

There are some really good deals from costco for this type of survival food.

I would prefer to have a lot of canned goods, (homemade or storebought), but there is a lot to be said for the prepacked food kits.

Remember that the space/weight saved with this type of pack will be lost to water storage necessary to prepare the meals.

Most certainly the one thing I would lack would be the water to reconstitute it.

The guy I got the link from says he wants to order a small pack. Just enough for him and his wife for perhaps 2 weeks to a month. It is about $200.
When it comes in I'll check it out. I wish they had a sample pack of some kind that I could buy.Just a meal or two to try. I'd get a couple of days worth and see how well they hold up.

I like the whole idea of freeze dried foods, ever since I learned what they were. The web link says it has been around since WWII.
