An old 642 powerport and a 686 plus
I carry one of two 442's pretty much every day. I have a black one and a matt nickel one. The black one is just a bit more inconspicuous if someone should see the butt of it in my pocket. It's loaded with 158gr semi wadcutters. They are accurate, and kick less than +p ammo does. I also have some Federal nyclad 125gr chief special loads that I shoot occasionally. I know, old school. But I'm old, and old school rules!Nice S&Ws you have there.
Love my K frames and pocket carry ( in a safe horsehide holster) a 442 no lock J frame frequently in warm weather.
Very nice! Is that an IWB holster? My latest revolver acquisition and favorite concealed carry, S&W 351PD
No shame in a good wheel gun or three
They haven't been available for a while.I bought a square butt and round butt from Classic 2-3 yrs ago. If I remember correctly about $280I love the 4" heavy barrel round butt k- frame. That is one of my grail guns. I bid on one last week, but I didn't win it unfortunately. They do not seem to come up for sale very often. I do have a Smith 57 41mag 4" pinned barrel I won a few years back. Beautiful gun, used but definitely not abused. I have wanted one of those since I was 18yrs old, I am 68 now. Maybe a Smith round butt k frame will surface that I can afford. Time will tell.
I do have a couple with the square butt and 4" heavy bbl. One of them is nickel. Beautiful gun. Just want a round butt k-frame. I have had a 3" model 13 and of all things a 3" model 66. Wish I still had them both but either something else caught my eye or $ problems caused their departure. Honestly can't remember It's been a while. They haven't been available for a while.I bought a square butt and round butt from Classic 2-3 yrs ago. If I remember correctly about $280
They are bull barrels, no taper to them. Specifically made that way.I'm not familiar with heavy barrel guns. Are they specifically made heavy or is it just a term for full underlugs?
Ok, I get it now. Thanks Bob Lee.They are bull barrels, no taper to them. Specifically made that way.
Beautiful collection! What is the top one with the unfluted cylinder?
