I own Colt 1911's and appreciate them for what they are and do....I actually CC a Colt Combat Commander.
I acquired a Sig Sauer Stainless 1911 45ACP Target NIB.
Dates around 2017 I believe.
This pistol is beautifully made and fit and finish is outstanding.
I don't see much reference of them on the various 1911 forums or other forums??
That all said how do you forum members feel about these pistols?
UPDATE QUESTION:
Does anybody CCW these type pistols?
What I'm asking is how you all think from a concealed carry perspective?.....the Sig pistol checks all the boxes like .45 ACP, stainless, 9 rounds capacity, very accurate, very reliable etc!!
So thoughts on CCW for these pistols

Thanks in advance

I took my Sig 1911 apart and did a clean and lube.......gun is tight and very well made.
I'm certain it will be more accurate than I can shoot! :)

I have seen them in the past but the box like slide never did anything for me and sometimes holsters can be an issue from what I hear.

What I have heard is they started out rough but are now a pretty good 1911.

I had one briefly, I sold it because it would not fit in my holsters... It seemed very well made, and the person who bought it from me loves it, says it is extremely accurate.
I had one too, also briefly. Nice piece overall but became a meh for me, sold it for a Dan Wesson PM9, much nicer for me.

I have an early (?) Sig 1911 ..it's labeled GSR Revolution.. a nicely built 1911. Came with front strap checkering. nice trigger..great workmanship/finish.
Some don't like Sig 1911's due to their use of an external extractor. Doesn't bother me.
