just bout a new rem 700 police in a 308 and was wondering what would be the best base to mount on that along with a good scope been looking at bushnell line of scopes if that helps.

I have larue bases on my 700’s running vortex scopes and precision matched rings.

I use a sightron sii 6x24x42 on my rem. As well but i have not shot it yet i will say it is very crisp and bright even with magnification all the way up i have a Nikon monarch and a Leopold on other guns and it is just as clear as them.
