I absolutely like what I have read so far about 1911 45.I am a Revolver guy and always have been .when I was in the Army I fired the colt 45's and never enjoyed them and stuck to firing M130Cal Carbine and carried it regularly.Currently I have several Colt's including my Favorite gun my 1969 colt Python.I'm getting ready to buy another pistol and Im looking very closely at the Colt 1911 I do need some encouragement to do so.I think my Python is unbeatable for safety and accuracy. Although I'm afraid to fire it as often as I do and should keep my Queen in the safe .Hence the need for another reliable gun mostly for my range visits and home protection

Revolvers are absolutely amazing firearms. The Python is right up there to the 1911 in my opinion, a true classic and isn't going anywhere.
