Thanks for the invite> general info about my interests:
MWM, 75, Midwest. Collector for 40+ years. Military, WWI, WWII, to Vietnam. Government, foreign, British RAF, Lend-lease, and Canadian. Commercial, commemorative, most manufacturers since inception. (No current Singers or NA.)
Also Lugers, most manufacturers, military and commercial.
In revolvers, most S&W, Colt DA, SAA, cap & ball, and CW manufacturers.
Significant CW carbines and breech-loaders, (Sharps, Burnside, etc). Kentuckies and plains rifles.
Most US rifles, rifled muskets, and muskets issued since 1750's. 1850 - 1880 muzzle-loading long-range target rifles (per Roberts books).
30's - 70's sporting arms. Currently doing specific historic research in guns that arouse curiosity, Have the Springfield Research Service manual, Clausen, Meadows, Poyer, etc.
Oh, and shotguns too, but mostly blue-collar hunting with Dad and Uncle Archie stuff.

Yeah, the interests shifted a lot over the years; that's why the collection got so extensive. GAS is real. Sort of depended on what they were running on the History Channel before the swamp and treasure stuff started.
