Thanks guys! On top of the good looks, this bad boy is a great shooter! I can't wait to shoot it with the new HG.

Actually the comp makes the .22 louder and that makes it easier for the timers to pick up the shots... Plus the guys at NC hooked me up! lol...
Exactly the reason I'm putting 1 on mine. I got screwed at a BIG match because the timer didn't pick up the shots.
The re-shoot didn't exactly go so well.

The HG on the 3-gun rifle hasn't been melting quite as much lately. lol...



I've seen several occasions where the timers had trouble picking up .22's at steel challenge and action shooting events...

I don't know.

Our fun matches, (rimfire), and steel Challenges don't seem to have a problem. I've read on other sites that timers need to be close to the ejection ports. Have you seen anything similar?

yeah, that's the problem......when you're running & gunning it's hard for the RO to keep the timer right up by the ejection port.
