There are too many gunsmiths in my area I would trust to do trigger work on any of my 1911's to justify spending $300 on a trigger.
I tried several higher priced, name brand, drop in triggers for my AR's and the best AR trigger (@ least the one I shoot best with) is
the one done by my local gunsmith. & he only charged me $80 to do it.

I was a bit surprised by price but NHC makes hi quality parts (and pistols) I've always cleaned up my own ignitions and see no reason to change now.

I do see this as a good option for those without jigs, stones, etc and also without time and patience to learn the art of 1911 ignition. I want to try the TR sear set up but my break away angle style is consistent and being all set up, it's inexpensive.

If you're going to work on your 1911 "without (the) time and patience to learn the art of 1911 ignition", stay away from my range.
