I wanted a full size .45 again and saw this new design TRP. Sold my old stainless one awhile ago partly because I didn't like the billboard on the slide. This one has a more subtle and serious look to it. The fit is flawless and it locks up like it was hard fit. Comparable to my Dan Wesson but the trigger is heavier (5#) but then it is made for duty use. (Make my own left handed holsters)

Have always believed the TRP to be a best value 1911

Great leatherwork and a handsome holster.

Very nice. I was looking at one of those today on GB. Got 5 Springfields but I don't have a TRP yet. I wouldn't mind a stainless one. I've been very happy with Springfields fitment.

I like my stainless TRP. But I put on Heini straight eight sights, A Wilson Low lever single safety, Stan Chen SI 1-piece Magnell, VZ Grips. But that's me. Gotta have it just the way I what it. But I do that to just about everything.
