New guy here have owned my Tisas for 2 months just tore down and rebuilt Bought one like Nut-n-Fancy had. 1000 round through got brave today tore it completely down all parts wearing in great. Put it back together and function checked. Winner Winner everything works fine. First complete teardown of 1911 not as intimidating as I thought.

1911's are like potato chips.... hard to stop after you have the first one.
Got a Govt size ? try a Commander size next ?
Is it a 45 ?...Really need a 9mm.. tell yourself it'll be cheaper to shoot.
