ICORE open gun

I have too many unused computing cycles right now. I've been thinking about an open gun for playing ICORE. I just can't get Jerry's cadence at the plate rack during the IRC shoot offs out of my head. I suspect that it could help make me faster for the rest of my shooting. However, I know nothing about open guns of any kind. Can you gentle people give me some good information for a beginner? I know this is a very open ended question, but I don't even know what questions to ask. Thanks in advance. Javier

You should hear the sound of one when the right shooter fires it. Its almost musical.

well i can tell you my open gun is too freaking heavy.. I should have listen to Gober and took off the v comp barrel and had one made for it. on the other hand it doesn't really rise with the 120 pf of icore... the hardest thing so far is figuring out what red dot i want on top of it, the c more was ok, the tasco is also ok, but nothing feels just right yet... the vortex that the other JM uses is around 500 bucks... kinda high for a gun I won't shoot that often.

not to sound cocky but your local revolver shooters come in anywhere from the top half to 2/3rds of the pack. considering they reload three to four times more than the other divisions it isn't too bad...

You should have bought that one Mike. I got to do more than feel it up once, and it didn't feel like an N frame, more like an L frame. I woulda bought it, but I have the sweetest 625 I've ever laid hands on.
