Just 'discovered' this site, and recognize a few names from another forum I frequent. I'm down in sunny SE AZ, not too far from Tombstone. I can actually see a mountain range in Mexico from my house. 
Anyway, for those who don't know me I'm a former Marine (scout/observ) and now a recently retired engineer. I shot USPSA for 20+ years and built most of my own race guns for open class, and know a bit about these pistols but I'm no expert.
I have a small shop in the garage and as I'm no longer working, I spend most of my days out there tinkering with my pistols, rifles, and whatever other hobby machinist projects I come up with.
