well, that's really swell..pointing out a problem..but I was expecting to hear something about how to correct the issue. If I owned a Springfield Armory 1911 with those "marks" I'd be contacting the company to have them address it.

too bad the video offered nothing about a fix.

I had to send my Garrison back to Springfield , because it wasn't fit or blended very well. I should have passed on the pistol as I should know better… but I was Enamored with the blueing and price and bought it without giving it a good inspection.
Springfield fixed it up pretty nice and I think it's a great looking gun .BE871772-3E41-4E24-AE77-DCF3881A793E.jpeg8CE1C7EE-F10C-47B0-9356-0F09874E31BC.jpeg

I bought a lightly used STI and it had the exact same wear showing on the frame and slide as the one in this Master Gunworks video. Actually, it was a little bit worse. I was quite surprised to see this obvious lack of proper fitting, on a $2,000 (Cdn) 1911, from a relatively "premium" gun maker. I cleaned it up myself and it's now fine, but I wasn't impressed that it left their factory this way. I took a couple of photos of it, before I corrected it and sent them an e-mail with the photos att'd. Never heard anything back from them. Probably a lesson in here somewhere, but I'm unsure what that might be. Regards - Doug

well, your "after" pic sure looks a lot better than your "before" pic..

but the finish looks more like durakote or cerekote than bluing, IMO.

Why is that video in 240P?
I'll add constructive criticism too, with some zing. All the resolution in the world can't compensate for the object being barely in frame.

Sig had that dust cover rubbing problem mentioned on a lot of their customer reviews for some Tacops models.
