I think it's a great idea as long as someone with the fortitude to use it if necessary has access to it. Something needs to be done to stop the liberals from targeting children.

The presence of the exact rifle they are so afraid of might do it.

A better idea is to have ex-combat vet on duty equipped with that same AR.

I could not tell from the article, but are they training people to use said breaching tools and the AR? With some decent training, I think it is a great idea. military vets or leo with the skills would be better of course, but the teachers are there on sight, familiar with the layout and students, so that might give them an edge. Better than the Uvalde response for sure!
