I have been after some of this guys workfor awhile. He is local to me and I have a couple friends with his knives so I have seen the quality first hand before buying mine . He does hand built custom one offs and small batch production builds . His hand made customs are out of my league but I was able to score one of the small batch production knives.

After further research apparently Berg is using some of the best knife steel currently available. I know nothing about these things so I Googled the steel name and found some great blog post about it.
