Good morning members. Thank you for accepting me to this group, Im looking forward to the information to come from the experience in this group. I live in the greatest state in the nation so I probably don't need to tell y'all where that is but I will anyway, TEXAS! I have recently purchased my first 1911, A Sig Tac Ops and I love it! I have a few other pistols and they don't come close to the authority that my 1911 demands but I am a fan of firearms in general and will continue to grow my collection for many years to come, Government allowing(wink wink). I firmly support our military men and women and stand strong behind our constitution. I am not military but come from a strong military family. I hope to learn from this group and hell, maybe even teach a thing or two. Anyway, Looking forward to getting to know y'all and share some firearms and ideas.

Meh.........
Welcome Sir

I stated no in the poll. And here's why.
I recently took a trip to Arkansas and handled the Guncrafter and Nighthawk double stack models. They are similar to a 2011 but, they had alloy grip frames. To me, this is just a better looking and feeling design then the Wilson offering. Another key point is this, many people were chomping at the bit to find the Wilson when released. I am seeing a very large number of these available on the used market now. Kind of makes me think......

Like the nighthawk but also been eyeballing the CZ Shadow. I just want a semi compact double stack to carry and it seemed the Wilson was a fit, Until I saw the price! OUCH!!! Not for the working man supporting a family.

Got my spec'd out X9 a couple weeks ago after a 9mo wait. Well worth the wait and the expense. With my long fingers, I have always had a tendency with my 1911's, to push left on trigger press. With the X9, large strap & long trigger I'm consistently dead on.

I have not got my edc x9 yet, should be soon and I voted yes in your poll because I have to believe it is since I ordered one!!
I know they're pricey but close to the size of a Glock 19 and I would rather have the Wilson than a $2000 Glock!
The idea of a NH or GI double stack is great but it's still a big gun where the X9 is a more compact firearm.

Oh and welcome the a pretty great forum from a bit too bad a state for guns, NW Ohio!!!

I've looked at the Wilson a few times but I'm still rocking the G19.

I didn't even own a gun until I was in my late twenties, simply couldn't afford it. A lot of work and overtime went into what I have now.

A quality pistol is often a great investment, I've rarely lost when selling or trading.

WS6 was one of the performance packages Pontiac offered, sort of like the Z28. The last time I recall it being used was on the last generation of Firebirds.
