SC State Cowboy Match Sept. 26-29, 2019

The Palmetto Gun Club is hosting this year's SC State Match, the "Rampage at Ridgeville", beginning with side matches on Thursday September 26. The main match stages are Friday and Saturday; the match wraps up Sunday morning with a "Shootoff" and awards.

The host club is the home of the Geechee Gunfighters who put on great matches every month.

About 120 shooters signed up so far. Looks like a good match.

I looked at the forecast; weather wise it looks like a repeat of last year's State Match. At least I'll be shooting in the afternoon on Saturday. Black powder smoke, humidity and morning sun is an unfavorable combination.

It doesn't make much difference when you publish the event a week after it has occurred!!!

If you are interested in attending a match, great! There are six clubs in SC that hold monthly matches. The Palmetto Posse shoots this Saturday.
