Missed 1st steel challenge getting ready for the next one

Just from looking at your picture, I think your mag pouches are too far forward on your belt for production. Unless you are skinnier than the position that the belt is in now.

Mags and holster have to be behind the point of your hip bones. So you would need to move the pouches or holster back.

thanks for the info the mag pouches were just thrown on, tried to copy the main idea from comp shooters in pics/vids.

Did my first steel match today! It was all muddy and raining but we had tarps to shoot under. Only problem I ran into was they had 4 8-10" circle plates on the 4 corners of a 18"x24" rectangle stop plate. I shot the stop plate 2 times before hitting the all the circle plates, 2-3 miss penalties each time. Other than that it was a blast, time to make some steel targets.
